You bring the product.
SmartAds builds the campaign.
Connect your store or ad account, give SmartAds your product, and get a campaign you can review, edit, and approve before anything goes live.
Campaigns are created paused. Nothing runs until you approve it.
An illustration of the SmartAds campaign plan screen. A draft campaign called Trail Runner 2 — Spring, version 3, is marked as needing approval. Its objective, platform, audience, schedule and creative direction are marked as set by AI, and its daily budget of 35 euros as set by you. Edit and review controls sit at the bottom beside a note reading: nothing is live yet.
Step one
Start with what you’re selling.
Pick a product from your connected store, or describe one yourself and add your own images. SmartAds reads the name, price and description, and works out what the product actually is before it suggests anything.
- Pull products straight from a connected Shopify store
- Or add a product by hand, with your own media
- No campaign is created at this point — you are just choosing a product
An illustration of the SmartAds product picker. A search field invites you to search your products or paste a product link. Below it, a product called Trail Runner 2, priced at 129 euros and sourced from Shopify, is shown with a use-this-product control, and a panel listing what SmartAds took from it: running, trail, performance footwear, mid price.
An illustration of the SmartAds Creative Studio for a product called Trail Runner 2, showing concept 1 of 3 with variants A, B and C. An ad copy panel marked AI contains a headline, primary text and description, with keep and edit controls. Below it sit your own tags, and two further cards — image concept and video concept — each marked not available, noting that the provider seam is built but no provider is configured. A closing note says generating a concept publishes nothing.
Step two
SmartAds does the heavy lifting.
It drafts the campaign — objective, audiences, budget, schedule — and writes the creative to go with it. You get options, not one take-it-or-leave-it answer.
A campaign plan
Objective, platform, audiences, budget and schedule, written as a document you can edit.
Ad copy that varies
Headline, primary text and description — several concepts per product, each with the angle it is going for.
Suggestions, with reasons
Where it proposes an audience or a change, it says why, so you can disagree.
Everything editable
Change a budget, swap an audience, rewrite a headline. Your edits stick.
Designed to generate, not yet
Creative Studio is built to produce image and video concepts alongside the copy. The groundwork is in place and no generation provider is configured, so image and video generation are not available today. Copy is what the studio produces right now.
AI assistance of any kind requires an AI provider to be configured on the deployment you are using. Where it is not, SmartAds says so rather than presenting an empty result as an answer.
Product intelligence
It doesn’t just write the ad.
SmartAds uses what it knows about your product to help decide what to advertise, who to reach, and how to structure the campaign — so the setup work shrinks and the suggestions have a reason attached.
What it does today
Built- Understands the product
- Name, description, price and category become the context every suggestion is written from — so the ad is about what you actually sell.
- Surfaces audience opportunities
- Ranks the segments already in your account against your own cost-per-acquisition benchmark, and says which are worth increasing, testing or looking into.
- Suggests what to test next
- Proposes tests worth running rather than leaving you to guess which variable to change first.
- Reduces manual setup
- Turns product context into a structured campaign — objective, audiences, budget, schedule — instead of a blank form.
- Links campaigns to products
- Proposes which campaigns correspond to which products, so store revenue can be read beside advertising activity.
An illustration of the SmartAds opportunities screen, drawn from your own account data. Three segments are listed: placement Reels, marked test, below your account benchmark; age 25 to 34, marked increase, carrying a small share of spend; and placement Audience Network, marked investigate, above your benchmark. A note says segments are ranked against your own account benchmark and that no audience sizes or interest names are invented.
Where it is going
Not available- Keywords and search intent
- The campaign model already carries keywords with match intent. No connected platform targets by keyword today — Meta does not — so they inform nothing yet.
- SEO intelligence
- Keywords and product signals that could inform organic discovery as well as advertising. Not built.
- Less-saturated opportunities
- Using product context to point at places worth trying before they are crowded. A direction, not a feature.
SmartAds surfaces opportunities and recommendations. It does not promise cheaper advertising or a particular result — every suggestion is a place to look, with the reasoning attached, and the decision stays yours.
Step three
Nothing launches without you.
SmartAds will plan a campaign, write the creative and get everything ready. Then it stops and waits. Approving is a thing you do, on purpose, to the exact version you just read.
An illustration of the SmartAds approval screen. A campaign is ready for Meta and Instagram with a daily budget of 35 euros, three audiences and four creatives. A prominent line reads: nothing is live yet. Below it sit an edit control and an approve-and-launch control.
An illustration of a SmartAds campaign after approval. The campaign Trail Runner 2 — Spring is marked active on Meta and Instagram, with a status of delivering, and a note that you approved this version and can pause or edit it whenever you want.
- Budgets are yours
- Set the daily budget before you approve, and change it after. Nothing is spent on a number you did not choose.
- Audiences are editable
- Swap, narrow or remove an audience. A suggestion you ignore simply does not happen.
- Approval is tied to a version
- If the plan changes after you approve it, launching refuses rather than shipping something you did not read.
- Stop everything, any time
- A workspace-wide switch halts automated activity immediately, and disconnecting an account revokes the access.
Where your ads run
One workspace, more channels over time.
SmartAds is built on a campaign model that is not tied to any one platform, so new channels are added rather than rebuilt. Here is exactly how far that has got — and what is still just the plan.
A diagram with SmartAds at the centre. Connected to it and available now are Meta and Instagram for advertising, and Shopify for commerce, which supplies product data and performance insights. Shown around it but not connected, and each labelled not available, are TikTok Ads, Google Ads, YouTube, Snapchat and Pinterest.

Shopify
Your store, connected.
Connect a Shopify store and your products come with you. SmartAds reads your catalogue and your orders so you can see what the store earned next to what the advertising did.
Reads your products
Names, descriptions, images, prices — the context a campaign is built from.
Reads your orders
So store revenue sits beside advertising activity. Shopify serves the most recent 60 days to apps that have not asked for more, and SmartAds has not asked.
Changes nothing
No permission to create, edit or delete anything in your store is requested, and there is no code that could use one.
An illustration of the SmartAds store connection, marked read-only. Four steps run down the panel: your Shopify store, providing products and orders read only; a product with its name, price, description and images; SmartAds, which reads it and drafts a campaign; and a campaign plan that is yours to edit and approve. A closing note says SmartAds reads your catalogue and orders and never changes anything in your store.

Give SmartAds a product. See what it comes back with.
Create an account and look around before connecting anything. Plan a campaign, draft creative, and see exactly how approval works — without granting access to a single advertising or commerce account.
